Speaking at Overherd

I’m speaking at Farm Digital’s great Overherd event in London on Wednesday March 14. It’s looking at 2018 trends including “AI, Blockchain, Facebook fundraising and more”. I’ll be handling the Facebook fundraising part and explaining how I utilised its new Donate tools to help The Air Ambulance Service more than double its digital donations. More information here.

Amazing news to see Air Ambulance fly into the Top 10 at number six in Third Sector’s annual Charity Brand Index. (Sorry though not sorry for the lame pun.) Plenty of great reasons why, not least the fantastic work done on the recent Children’s Air Ambulance campaign by many brilliant individuals. Feel privileged to have played some small part in drawing attention to The Air Ambulance Service’s vital charity work and helping strengthen public awareness of its services.

Children’s Air Ambulance gets Facebook Donate

As part of my new position as Head of Digital and Innovation at The Air Ambulance Service, I’m delighted to say that I managed to get our service Children’s Air Ambulance to be amongst the first UK charities to get access to Facebook’s new fundraising tools. This includes a Donate button directly hosted by the network – meaning users don’t have to leave the site – as well as allowing people to have the chance to fundraise for us on the platform. It’s a hugely exciting move, and I look forward to seeing how the experiment pans us, for both them and us.

Launch of

So for the past few months myself – operating as Channel Manager amongst my other responsibilities – and many other blissfully talented people have been working on the launch of, our brand new hub for Virtual Reality content. And here it is!

We have a diverse array of amazing videos that you can watch even if you don’t have goggles, with more in the pipeline. And before you ask, yeah, it was totally me doing the cliff dive from 28 metres. Nailed it.
